Sisma (production building)

The expansion of the Sisma (production building) fits perfectly into a well-defined architectural context, thanks to a linear composition applied to a single building.
The semi-structural façade system conceals the horizontal effect of the transoms, whilst enhancing the verticality of the mullions. The latter are in fact very prominent, perfectly balancing the horizontality of the elevations, whilst also supporting the sun breaker modules.
The pattern of vertical partitions is also extended to the side façades through the expanded mesh sun breakers, painted to match the existing building.
This ensures that the interplay of volume, colour and verticality of the façades fully meets the brief that calls for the integration of the image and function, in this case mainly production oriented, of the full architectural complex.
