Millegrobbe skylight
Description
In an alpine environment, Nicolli installed the “Millegrobbe skylight” with a broken elliptical shape, tilted at a 15° angle, built using a continuous façade profile supported by a steel structure with the perimeter covered with painted aluminium metal sheet. The assembly was then insulated in accordance with regulations using insulating panels, double seals and steam sheaths.
Special attention was paid to thermal insulation by fitting a glass panelling system, walkable to help with cleaning and maintenance, made of float crystal, and capable to withstand water and snow.
