Alucobond
Alucobond is one of the commercial names of a composite panel consisting of two aluminum foils and a sandwiched plastic core.
Its properties ensure an extraordinary ratio between weight and flexural strength: the panels remain dimensionally stable and shaped, even under extreme thermal excursions. In fact, there are 3 different categories of panels based on the fire resistance class.
This material is also known by other names: Stacbond, Etalbond, Larson, Albond, In-Compo, Naturalbond, Alupanel, Reynobond…
